golden shamrock

My mate Chris buys and sells vintage furniture.  He often passes on scraps and bits he finds in old drawers or down the back of sofa’s, receipts, hand written notes, old draw liners.. He emailed me these real interesting pics today. Remnants of stickers in the bottom of steel drawers. So what was the Golden Shamrock? A Plane? Dublin, London, New York. Were they storage trucks for immigrating familes? Who knows, but they were once ripped off leaving these lovely clues behind. I thought they were broken grave stones when I glanced at first. I’m not really using this blog to plug mates businesses, but you should really check out Chris’s shop in Brighton. If you like my work you’ll like his wares. He’s got a great eye.
